And it really makes me wonder.
I still don't have the reason. And you don't have the time.

And fear can't always be an option...
Life had always moved at a somewhat easy pace for him. The former Jyosei buchou had come from a good family, his father's company thriving in the corporate world and when it came time for Takahisa to do his part (which meant attending the few parties or gatherings he was asked to), he would be there. But following in his father's footsteps wasn't what he wanted to do. He had an older brother who was much more enthused about it than he was. Why bother? The problem was, however, that he wasn't quite sure what to do with himself without the responsibility he'd initially thought he would always have.
There were a few things which Takahisa went out of his way to achieve and hold on to; tennis had been one of them. And still, though he loved the sport, it wasn't something he could keep doing all his life even if he wanted to (what with the limit to his abilities and skill). He had tried instructing yoga classes for a time, perhaps to humor the friends who had thought that it was a fitting job for him. But he had never placed any real passion into it. He knew it wasn't his calling either.
Then came a point during his college life when he wondered what he could do with simply a pen and paper in hand. And from then on, writing articles for magazines had taken up most of his time-- he'd graduated with a degree in Professional Writing. Through his words, Takahisa had been given a certain kind of freedom only a few could ever imagine. He could make people believe, make them like or dislike, all with just a few thoughts down on paper. But did he really believe all the things he wrote of? One couldn't tell. Takahisa had never let anyone come close enough.
Hearing of Le Atobe and how it needed some serious refurnishing, the brunette had considered the prospect for a few days until it finally dawned on him that perhaps this route would lead to even more in the future. And he was more than willing to give up his mundane lifestyle at present for that chance (who wouldn't, really?).
